Finally, I really want to thank you, the reader who has kept coming back to find out what else I’m writing about each day, week, month and year. Genius signed deals with both Polymarket and Kalshi in August, to provide real-time event data and league integrity services, as well as streaming services. Fellow data provider Sportradar also announced similar multi-year partnerships with both Kalshi and Polymarket in June.
Initial reaction from investors was largely unfavourable. Genius shares plunged 13% on 18 Sept., falling 17% for the week. The data provider closed the session at $5.64 per share, well below the $6.19 price when it announced the Legend acquisition in February.
The launch of Prediction.com comes amid a strategic integration phase following Genius Sports’ acquisition of Legend.

A lottery player in Pennsylvania, specifically in South Park Township, may have every reason to check their recent lottery tickets, as one of them is bound to be the winner of a $3-million prize.
Bought at the 7-Eleven on Brownsville Road, the ticket for The Hunt for $3,000,000 game has already fetched the store a $10,000 bonus for selling the top prize. However, no person has stepped forward to claim the prize itself.
There have been no further details about the lottery prize. The Pennsylvania Lottery only finds out that a winning ticket has been sold after the fact, but the lottery cannot tell whether the person buying the ticket actually realized that they had won.
